Merciful Father,

I thank You for Your infinite and unconditional mercy.

Thank You for forgiving my sins and for restoring my soul.

I thank You for Your patience with me when I fail,

and for Your gentle guidance back to Your path.

Thank You for the grace of the Sacrament of Reconciliation

and for the peace that comes from knowing I am loved by You.

Help me to be a vessel of Your mercy to others,

forgiving as I have been forgiven,

and loving as I have been loved.

Through Christ our Lord.

The Depth of God's Mercy

God's mercy is a bottomless ocean. No matter how many times we fall, His mercy is always there to lift us up and restore us. When we give thanks for His mercy, we are acknowledging the most profound gift we have received - the gift of being reconciled to our Creator.
