Novena for Retirement – Day 3: New Purpose
Today's Focus: New Purpose
Retirement is not the end of purpose — it is the beginning of a new one. God has plans for your time, your wisdom, and your experience that go beyond your career.
Prayer for Day 3
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Lord, show me the new purpose You have for this season. Open my eyes to the ways I can serve, love, and contribute. Whether through family, community, parish, or prayer — help me to live these years with intention and meaning. I am still Your servant, Lord. Use me.
Scripture Reading:
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Reflection for Today
Many retirees find their greatest fulfillment in volunteering, mentoring, grandparenting, or deepening their prayer life. Ask God today: "Lord, what do You want me to do with this gift of time?"
