Prayer for Day 7
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Opening Prayer:
Dear Lord, we thank You for the many ways You bless and protect our world. We ask You today to take care of all firefighters.
Prayer for Trust:
It is not always easy for us to place our trust fully in You during our lives. When we are facing difficulties and suffering, it can feel difficult to surrender our lives to You. Those who carry out the difficult work of fighting fires often risk their lives as they work. Firefighters are in great need of trust in You as they work.
Daily Intention:
Today we pray for firefighters to grow in trust in God as they risk their lives in their work. We ask God to help all firefighters to grow in trust in Him and to surrender their lives to His care.

Reflection for Today
Today we pray for firefighters to grow in trust in God. Firefighters face situations where they must trust in God's protection and guidance. They enter dangerous situations where their own understanding and abilities may not be enough. Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and to submit to Him in all our ways. For firefighters, this means trusting that God will protect them, guide their decisions, and give them the strength they need. It means surrendering their lives to God's care, knowing that He is in control. Let us pray that firefighters will develop deep trust in God and that they will find peace in surrendering their lives to His care.
