You have prayed for nine days. You have given thanks, let go, sought purpose, and trusted God. Now, on this final day, we step forward with joy into the season God has prepared.

Prayer for Day 9

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Lord of all seasons, I stand at the threshold of retirement with gratitude and hope. I do not know everything that lies ahead, but I know You. You have been faithful in every season of my life, and I trust You to be faithful in this one too. I step forward with joy, knowing that You have good plans for me — plans for welfare and not for evil, to give me a future and a hope. Use these years for Your glory. Amen.
