Prayer for Day 8
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Dear Jesus, we thank You and praise You for the many ways You have blessed our lives. We come before You today to ask for a blessed new year.
You call each one of us to have an intimate relationship with You in our lives. But it is not always easy for us to stay close to You. You can help us to grow in friendship with You throughout this new year.
Please pour out Your grace on our lives during this new year, and we particularly ask today that You help us and all people to grow to a deeper friendship with You during the new year.
Help us always make our relationship with You our top priority in life. Give us the grace to serve You more devotedly each day of our lives.
And we especially ask in this novena for (mention your intentions here).
Lord, hear our prayers!

Reflection for Today
Today we focus on deeper friendship. This aspect of beginning a new year helps us to grow in faith and to become more like Christ in our daily lives as we seek God's blessings and grace.
As we continue our New Year Novena, let us remember that we depend on God for all things in our lives, and His loving providence keeps our lives in existence. He knows what is best for us even better than we do ourselves.
Let us ask Jesus to help us be instruments of His love and grace in our daily lives throughout the new year.
