On this fifth day, we pray for help for those who struggled in the past year.
Prayer for Day 5
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Dear Jesus, we thank You and praise You for the many ways You have blessed our lives. We come before You today to ask for a blessed new year.
You know what each one of us needs even better than we do. You know our struggles and sufferings, and You see all of our pain. You can bring blessings and grace to all people who have struggled with great difficulty during the past year.
Please pour out Your grace on our lives during this new year, and we particularly ask today that You help in the new year all who have struggled with great difficulty this past year.
Help us to turn to You in our needs each day of our lives. Give us the grace to grow closer to You in every circumstance, even in the midst of suffering.
And we especially ask in this novena for (mention your intentions here).
Lord, hear our prayers!

Reflection for Today
Today we focus on help for struggles. This aspect of beginning a new year helps us to grow in faith and to become more like Christ in our daily lives as we seek God's blessings and grace.
As we continue our New Year Novena, let us remember that we depend on God for all things in our lives, and His loving providence keeps our lives in existence. He knows what is best for us even better than we do ourselves.
Let us ask Jesus to help us be instruments of His love and grace in our daily lives throughout the new year.
