Prayer for Day 9
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for giving us the gift of grandchildren. We ask You to pour out Your grace upon them.
You call many men and women to serve You as priests and religious in Your Church. Others, You call to serve You as spouses and parents. It is not always easy to respond to Your call in our lives. You can help our grandchildren to discern and live out their vocations.
Please bless and assist our grandchildren in every circumstance, and we particularly ask today that You help our grandchildren respond generously to Your call.
Help us to live out our own vocations faithfully each day of our lives. Give us the grace to help our grandchildren in their vocations in every way that we can.
And we especially ask in this novena for (mention your intentions here).
Lord, hear our prayers!

Reflection for Today
Today we pray for our grandchildren to grow in vocation. As grandparents, we have a special role in helping our grandchildren develop the virtues they need for holiness.
The Bible tells us that "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). As we pray for our grandchildren, we can trust that God will help them grow in virtue and holiness.
God wants our grandchildren to grow in vocation and all the virtues. When we pray for them and model these virtues in our own lives, we help them to understand what it means to live a holy life.
As we continue this novena, let us ask God to give us the grace to be good examples for our grandchildren and to help them grow in all the virtues they need for holiness.
Remember that our prayers and example can have a profound impact on our grandchildren's spiritual growth and their relationship with God.
