In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Dear Lord, we thank You and praise You for giving us the sacrament of confession. We ask You to bless and prepare all who will soon make their First Confession.

Preparing to go to confession for the first time can often be difficult. Many who are preparing for their First Confession might feel nervous about confessing their sins and afraid they will not remember their sins. You can help all penitents to remember their sins well.

Please help all people who are preparing to make their First Confession, and we particularly ask today that You help all preparing to make their First Confession to have a clear recollection of their sins.
