Novena for Fertility – Day 2: Men with Infertility

Pray for men who have been diagnosed infertile and struggle with the cross of infertility in their marriage.

Today\'s Focus: Men with Infertility

Today we pray for men who have been diagnosed infertile and struggle with the cross of infertility in their marriage. We ask God to help all men who have been diagnosed infertile and to provide them with His grace and strength.

Prayer for Day 2

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Opening Prayer:
Lord God, we thank You and praise You for allowing us to share in Your creative power through the gift of procreation. Please help all married couples who are struggling with the inability to conceive and bear children!

Prayer for Men with Infertility:
Many married couples are eager to raise children and to begin the holy duties of parenthood. But some couples are not able to conceive a child, and some even receive a medical diagnosis of infertility. A diagnosis of infertility can make parenthood seem impossible.

Daily Intention:
Today we pray for men who have been diagnosed infertile and struggle with the cross of infertility in their marriage. We ask God to help all men who have been diagnosed infertile and to provide them with His grace and strength.

Scripture Reading:
"God blessed them and said to them, 'Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.'" (Genesis 1:28)

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be

Closing Prayer:
We ask You to bless and assist all who are struggling with infertility, and we particularly ask You today to help all men who have been diagnosed infertile! Help us to grow in unity with You even in the midst of sufferings. Help us to make our relationship with You our top priority in life. And I especially ask in this novena (mention your intentions here). Lord, hear our prayers!

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Reflection for Today

Today we pray for men who have been diagnosed infertile. While infertility is often discussed in terms of women\'s experiences, men also suffer deeply when they receive a diagnosis of infertility. Men may feel that they have failed in their role as husbands and potential fathers, and they may struggle with feelings of inadequacy and shame. Genesis 1:28 reminds us of God\'s original blessing to be fruitful and multiply. When men face infertility, they may feel that they are somehow falling short of this divine command. However, it\'s important to remember that God\'s love for us is not conditional on our fertility. Each man is valuable and loved by God regardless of his ability to father biological children. Let us pray that men with infertility will find strength in God and that they will come to understand that their worth is not defined by their fertility, but by their identity as beloved sons of God.

How to Make an Excellent Novena

Be Hopeful

Pray with hope and trust in God\'s plan for your family. Remember that God loves you and has a plan for your marriage.

Be Patient

Trust in God\'s timing and be patient with His plan. God\'s ways are not our ways, and His timing is perfect.

Be Open

Be open to God\'s will, whether that means biological children, adoption, or other ways of building your family.

Be Grateful

Thank God for the gift of your marriage and for His love. Gratitude opens our hearts to receive more blessings.

Closing Prayer

Dear Lord, we thank You for the gift of fertility and for calling us to share in Your creative power. Help us to pray faithfully for couples struggling with infertility and to support them with love and compassion. May this novena help us grow in understanding and empathy for those facing the cross of infertility. Amen.
