Prayer for Day 5
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Dear Lord, we thank You for Your many blessings and the protections you offer us. We humbly ask You today to bring about the ultimate defeat of evil in the world.
The devil wreaks havoc on our world in many ways. We should all do everything we can to combat evil and its effects. But there are also some people whom You have called to pray and fast in a particular way to fight against the devil.
Please bring about the triumph of Your goodness over all evil. And we particularly ask today that You bless and assist all who have chosen to devote themselves to spiritual warfare.
Help us to always be eager to carry out Your will in our lives. Give us the grace to respond generously whenever You call us to do something for You.
And we especially ask in this novena for (mention your intentions here).
